I don't know if it was the seemingly endless winter or what, but there is something extra sweet about spring this year. Every time the temperature has soared about 50, I've nearly passed out from The Happy. No matter what else is going on, SUN! WARMTH! ALL THE HAPPY!

Today the temperatures soared past 70, so I pretty much morphed into that obnoxiously perky person who finds happiness in everything. Goodness, that child woke up WAY early. Yay! We get more time to be outside! Oh, look! There's a fly on my breakfast! YOU GUYS! IT'S WARM ENOUGH FOR FLIES!
And on and on.

Even I wanted to punch me a few times.

Instead, though, I decided to punch some pizza dough because GRILLED PIZZA SEASON WOOOOO!

I've posted the grilled pizza recipe a few times because I feel the entire world needs to give it a try. It's that good. It's easy, too.

This time, though, I didn't stop at making dinner out of the pizza crusts. The recipe makes 8 pizzas, each of which is enough to feed an average adult when paired with a salad or something. I refuse to split the recipe (I usually freeze half for later), but this time, I wanted to turn the extras into dessert.

In the history of Good Decisions, this one was WAY at the top of the list. I mean, WOW.

Pizza crust, cream cheese, strawberries, and Nutella. There was no way this could be anything other than fantastic. It might not look pretty, but holy smokes was it good.

Grilled Strawberry Pizza

4 Precooked grilled pizza crusts (see recipe here)
1 8-oz package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sliced strawberries
1-2 tablespoons Nutella

1. Cook those crusts on both sides. It's your choice if you want to let them rise a little bit so you have a doughy crust or if you want them thin. We went with thicker.

2. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract at low speed.

3. Spread a layer of cream cheese over one side of a cooked pizza crust.

5. Throw some strawberries on there.

6. Throw some gobs of Nutella on top.

7. Put the pizza on the grill and let it cook until the Nutella is melty. It won't look melty, by the way, but if you touch it, it will go from gobs to a Nutella sauce instantly.

That Nutella right there? Melted. One touch and it was easy to spread over the entire pizza.

8. That's the next step, actually. Spread the Nutella around using a spatula, the back of a spoon, or your finger. I don't much care how you do it. Just spread it, yo.

9. A pizza cutter works well for cutting it. Fingers work great for shoving it in your mouth.

10. Wonder if you can serve your family Dessert Pizza for dinner every night this week because HOLY SMOKES SO GOOD.
