It's too bad none of you bet me because you would have won.

May 18th came and went.

And so did May 19th.

For what it matters, May 20th came and went as well.

That's when the birds in our front yard turned two weeks old. It's also when I realized they are NEVER moving out.

By May 22, I'm pretty sure their mom was starting to wonder when they would get a job, a life, and move the hell out of her nest.

But they don't care. They aren't moving. EVER.

They don't even flinch when I take pictures. Which, for the record, I've been using my iPhone. I'm holding my phone no more than two inches from the crazy birds, and they don't care. They're staying. Forever.

I'm only slightly offended that they aren't scared of me, by the way.

That photo is May 24th. One of the birds is two weeks and four days old, the other three are two weeks and three days old.

They're going to live in their mother's basement FOREVER.

Though, they have come a long way since May 7th.
