It's a Shame Mila Never Shows What She's Feeling

I've been doing this half-birthday photo thing with the girls for a while and they DEFINITELY both get their own turn at the right time of the year, so it would make sense to question one little thing. Why exactly is there a Mila in Alexis' photos?

THAT'S A GREAT QUESTION.

It has happened every year since Mila was old enough to be terribly jealous that her big sister was getting attention when she wasn't. It starts with Alexis getting her photo taken.

Mila sees what's happening and makes the crankiest face you've ever seen. About three minutes later, the kid shows up in a white dress (usually one she dug out of heaven knows where because it's not exactly a thing that is kept in her closet) and just ... saunters her way in.

The game continues with Alexis getting mad because it is her turn to be in the middle of it all. She's not wrong.

But then Alexis gives in and I end up with a few photos of the both of them.

But then, without fail, Mila manages to push her sister out of the frame. Completely. Alexis gets fed up and disappears and Mila stands there and demands hundreds of photos.

So if you're ever wondering which of the two girls is more starved for attention, that pretty much sums it up. Not only does Mila want all of the attention, she knows exactly how to force her way into getting it.
