A Word of Warning
To the fine people of Indianapolis, beware for we are in town. You'll recognize me by the caterpillar firmly planted above my eyes (I'd be happy to fix the situation if a certain Toddler hadn't stolen my tweezers and hid them where I will never again find them, but for now you're just going to have to deal with it). You'll recognize the Toddler as she will introduce herself by saying, "Hi, I'm Crackers!" and then promptly run away. Mr. Husband can be spotted as he is the man dressed in fourteen layers of Steelers gear.
For the rest of you, this means you may or may not get regular posting. Consider yourself warned.

Hmmm. So I'm now in da 'burgh, and you're not... odd. And I'm SO sure I would have spotted that seven-layer Steeler gear wearin' hubby of yours. ;-)
It's raining here today. Imagine that.
Read your previous post about vocabulary - cracked me up! When I took JT for his 15 month appt, his pediatrician asked if he was speaking two-word sentences yet. I asked her if "touchdown" counted.
Yes, daddy has taught him well.
I love the picture! How fabulous to enjoy life and all the sweet treats! Enjoy your time with family!
Oooh, looks like you found a DQ on the way, and my guess is it's not inside a Stuckey's. Alexis is happy about that, or maybe it's the fact that mommy is sporting worms. How fun is that?!
Love the photo! Enjoy your holiday.
The "seven layers of steelers gear" comment cracked me up. Hey that sounds like some kind of dip -- seven layer steelers dip. Can you tell I've got food on the brain?
What a cute picture. Have a great Holiday!
Luckysevn--We need to cross paths one of these days when you are in the Burgh. The husband is kind of hard to spot when he is amongst his own kind, but I'm sure we could figure something out.
Now that I'm thinking about it, Alexis has said "touchdown" yet. I might need to wrok on that. She has, however, stroked Troy's head when he was on TV and said "pretty hair." My kid is a genius, I swear it.
Pam--Ya' know what's funny, I was talking to a relative today about Alexis eating an ice cream cone in the car and she sort of freaked out. I guess not everybody lets their kid make a total and complete mess while in the car. I personally loved it. That was the fastest 30 minutes of the whole drive. Ice cream makes kids (and adults) happy.
Karen--Alexis keeps pulling my worm (no plural, it's evolved to that point), so I'm thinking she might just like it. More hair to pull is a good thing in her book. And it was definately not Stuckey's. I seriously can't even look at the place without wanting to gag.
Madame Queen--I bet I could make up a recipe for that. Gold chips, black beans, cheese, and a few other things and we'd be in business. I'm on it.
Nap Warden--Thanks! You, too!
How'd she keep the ice cream off the car seat straps??
Shellie--She didn't, but it wasn't anything that couldn't be wiped up with a baby wipe.
I need to introduce you to our mutual friend: the electrologist. Learn it, live it. LOVE it. My uni? Gone.
okay, how is it that you can STILL post while out of town? :)
I didn't leave town and can't get my lazy butt to post more than twice a week.
oh, and say "hi" to Indy for me....I really miss it!
