A Quick Drive-by of Oglebay in West Virginia

(I think Joseph may have lost it in this last photo.)

BTW, some of the not-really-late-because-I-still-haven't-posted-my-outdoor-light-photos entries to Christmas Crazy KICK ASS!

I used to go there as a kid! (My Mom has family in WV.) I think they are the best lights I've ever seen.

Great pictures!!!!!

Would you believe I've never done Oglebay or even Hartwood Acres at Christmas? And I haven't made it to Overly's since they moved it from their actual house in Ambrust to the fairgrounds. Seeing these pics REALLY makes me want to go!

Loved those lights! Especially the flowers. Was Joseph folding a red sheet in the background? Interesting...

@Shellie--I don't know what Joseph was doing, but the evil glint in his eye makes me think Mary might want to run for her life.

BTW, y'all, I think Hartwood Acres is better. More expensive, but there are more lights. The giant sculptures are fine and all that, but driving through a forest with every tree trunk covered in lights wins in my book.

I saw this place on the Discovery channel! So fun!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks for posting those. We lived 10 miles from there and went there dozens of times every Christmas season. I really do miss it.

The little church was my favorite.
