Real or Really Creepy No. 1
Sure, two people emailed me and told me I had better not ever post another creepy doll photo again. Did you really think I would listen? My adventures in OCDland are well documented and, frankly, this whole reborn doll thing is pretty darn entertaining from where I'm sitting. After spending HOURS staring at creepy doll images, I think I've finally figured out how to tell the difference between creeptastic and cute. Can you?
I actually think this one is pretty darn easy. If we do this again, I can't promise I'll be quite so nice.
Guess away. I'll post the answer in comments in a day or two or five. Oh, and Holly, don't help anybody cheat, mmkay?

I'm starting to think that ALL the babies I'm seeing online are dolls. It's a whole internet conspiracy to make me THINK these precious babies that I'm seeing photos of are real but they are really dolls (all of them!!) created by evil dollmakers who are out to take over the world! What was the question again?

I'm glad I didn't have to publicly give my answer. It looks quite obvious, but I'm the total dork that always makes the obvious blunder.
Is that a tongue on the bottom picture or a deformed lip? And who dresses such a little baby like that anyway? I totally want to pinch the cheeks of the little one on top.

Personally, I was glad to view the original creepy-doll photo while at work. Good thing our company hasn't upgraded our monitors in years or else I would have seen it in high res. Yikes.

The second one is an uber creepy doll that sold for $787 on eBay a few nights ago. Reread that amount. Uh huh. The doll crazies aren't just crazy, they've got moolah. I would have gone with the first one being real. Or at least a not so creep doll if that had been the case. :P Besides, who puts a "newborn" in a hat like that. I don't even want to talk about how much that doll cost.
