Ok, but those are pretty good pictures. Still, between the scares and the lack of sleep, I think having a toddler makes you age faster. Aren't I a ray of sunshine? LOL
That's just plain fun. I did that with the kids as often as the dad did! It's great! Just don't let him throw Alexis up while standing under a ceiling fan in motion. Doesn't work so well. Cathedral ceilings? Fine!
Okay, I'm going to be the lone mom here who does this also with the kiddo, aren't I? Although now that she's getting bigger, I am happy to let my hubby do it. I always think of how fun it is. Apparently I'm missing some woman/mom worry gene. ;-)
You are lucky he's just tossing her a little. My cousin, the gymnast, would throw his kids clear up high and have them do flips and stuff. Now THAT was scary!
If my ass weren't pregnant and Little Man didn't weigh 30 pounds, I'd still be doing this to him. But now, it's sadly hubby only territory.
Look, your heart's going to have to learn to cope. After all, you have signed up the girl for gymnastics. Soon, you'll be wishing it was just Mr. Husband throwing her around.
I do it to. Only I'm closer to the ground than Jon so its not as thrilling for the kidlets and not as scary for me. When jon does is I still get wound up.
At least you got some fan-freaking-tastic shots out of it!!!
Tell me about it! Every time Hubs did that I would hold my breath. Cuz he throws HIGH and being that he's 6'5" to begin with, you can imagine the air the munchkins got!
that's some fun stuff there! Justin does that on a daily basis with both kids. considers it part of his work-out routine (10 tosses of the 24-pounder; 5 tosses of the 34-pounder). I laugh along with them because I can't help. I suspect you may have been doing the same, in-between swallowing your heart back down to where it belongs.

i strongly suspect that there was no throwing of my baby body, when I was young because everytime I see it done, it scares the crap out of me!
At least they are on the grass...not concrete!
I always hated when Sam did that with the kids because HELLO? it's scary for the mom!
Micah's therapist told us it was one of the best things for his low muscle tone. Great, just the encouragement Sam needed.
Can you say future cheerleader? Or maybe Olympic gymnast. I prefer my feet firmly on the ground!
I always tell my hubby, "Me next!" hehe
Great pics! Looks like fun. :)
Aww come on mom, she's just practicing to be a flyer in cheerleading! :) I know, it gives me a heart attack too! LOL
bwahahahahaha.
no, hon, i'm not laughing at you. i'm laughing at all the commenters who think that the toddler is in training to be a flyer.
bwahahahahahahaha!!!!!!
Ya know.... it's not really the heart stopping that will do you in. It's holding your breath until its all over that'll do that. :)
Honestly...men and their babies...what's with them? I think they want us to stop breathing and have a heart attack sometimes.
I second Danielle: if they really wanted to give you a heart attack, they would be on concrete.
Do moms do this with their babies? No. Why? Do we think we'll give ourselves a heart attack? Hmm. Yet another for the "Gender Differences" files.
ciao,
rpm
My husband does that with both of our kids. They love love love it.
that alwyas scares me...I have to fight the "reach & catch" urge even when they aren't my kids. Of course when I did it with them it was perfectly ok!
Scary for Mom, but fun for Toddler! Look at her face in the photos!! Pure Joy.

Ok, maybe it will make you go into coronary arrest but I have to say that it makes for some awfully cute pictures. Just sayin'...

He's a good dad. :)
I'm pretty sure that's in their job description. ;)
aahhhh.....little girls and their Daddy's!
Great pics, btw!
oh yeah, cheerleader-in-training, right there ;) woohoo! hehe How does Mama feel about THAT??
Great shots of it though! And I'm with the others- at least it's on grass and not concrete!

Yes, I know, I'm not helpful.
I do it to. Only I'm closer to the ground than Jon so its not as thrilling for the kidlets and not as scary for me. When jon does is I still get wound up.

Looks like fun, can I try? (Being thrown of course, if I threw the baby my arms would fall off.)
It freaks me out when hubby does that to Aidan too!
That is how I get all kids to like me. I throw them into the air and/or spin them in circles. They love it.
She has great form... I see a gymnastic or diving gold medal for sure! :)
Awww look at her giggle :)
Heart attacks are not very lady like. You might soil yoursefl when it happens. Pick a different way to go! :)
She is so damn cute!

It'll get worse before you get better...I mean, she'll start giving you heartattacks without Dad's help. Oh, sorry. Same thing.
She's a beautiful girl, you know!
little daredevil, they all love that! Moms, however....
LOVE those pictures!
(And yes, partly because it's not MY kid that is being thrown in the air ;) )
Dylan LOVES that! How did you get those shots? What setting? I can't seem to capture the joy properly.
Those pictures are awesome quality! Alexis looks just like a little rocket!
I know it well. Only MY husband really did drop her. And we went to the ER. Yup.
But, dayam, they make for cute pics, so what's a wee little fall?
