I just vomited in my mouth a bit.

But it was redeemed by the super preciousness of the pajamas!!!

The title... holy hell.

Oh c'mon. Those are cute shoes. Heh.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterFlea

Gag! I can't say it enough, be glad you missed the Barney years. And, that is true love, letting her wear that getup.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterShellie

Eww! I don't like those kind of shoes and you add her to it. **shudder**

BTW, have you heard her new voice?

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterDebbie Yost

you.did.not!

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterBirdie

My Eyes! MY EYES!

Please tell me you didn't spend money on those babe. Please.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKelley

Aaaargh! I am blind! I hope I am because if I open my eyes I have to see those again. Crocs are bad, but Dora Crocs?

Ok, let's pretend those are not Alexis' feet. Just a girl you saw at the mall. Right? Because I know you would never, not even if Alexis totally shanghaied you like toddlers do :-)

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterElisa

Oh, come on. You love them. Why else would she be wearing them?

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKaren

Just so we're crystal clear here, I did not purchase the shoes and the man who did? Is going to hear me bitch about those fugly shoes every day for months.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterBurgh Baby

What's sad is my feet are so small I bet they make them in my size--wouldn't I look purty?

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLisa@verybusymomwith4

Christ - we would never get anywhere because my daughter would have to stop after every single step and point and tell me that was "Dooora!" And then she would probably want to sit down so she could kiss her.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterMichelle Smiles

How did you find those in your size???

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterDanielle

That is the best laugh I've had in days. :)

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterhoneywine

Oh, I'm sorry.
:)

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKim

Ahh, they're cute. No - really.

But I REALLY like the photo further down, perfect. Now is it a tease or is she in a new stage and letting you take pictures of her?

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLeanne

Oh, dear. I thought we were over that phase?

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered Commenteranglophilefootballfanatic.com

Oh good Lord! Your post title is wild!!!

I used to hate Dora. But now I've resigned myself to it. Everything out there for little girls is "Dora."

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterBecky L

Oooh...unlucky!

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterwendy

I couldn't agree with you more about the shoes. And, for the record, I would like you to know that I thought of you today while out and about with Sorg. Okay, so we were standing in front of a display of pillows featuring Dora and her buddy Diego...but it should be the thought that counts.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterrebelliousflaw

This is where I am grateful I have boys, on both counts: the shoes AND Dora. You crack me up.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterabritdifferent

I think their kinda cute! Aidan has Lightning McQueen ones.

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterTammy

Your man has style. Teeheee....

September 27, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterOHmommy

Too funny! My husband bought me a pair just like those (minus Dora) and wonders why I won't wear them....

September 28, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterHey it's Amy Shipp

I can't believe you bought them! Sophie doesn't know they make them with the little margarita.
I'd rather had the princesses anyday---even though the complete Giselle Halloween costume is going for a cool $100 this year. What's even sadder is there are lots of p's out there who will pay it. sigh.
oh, yeah, don't worry--she WILL grow out of the exploring phase. Hannah Montana is right around the corner!
