(It's not her Halloween costume, but it was what she wanted to wear. No point in arguing, even if I'm not exactly sure what her "costume" was supposed to be.)
Looks like we'll be heading to Pgh next year for their ZooBoo...the Erie one is kind of lame (but he is only 7.5mo, so it's not like he's going to remember). Plus the Pgh one is during the day I see, whereas the Erie one is from 6-9pm (and Alex is usually in bed @7pm)
I don't know what she's is either, but she looks awesome....and I agree with Erin...the photos are amazing and she's very lucky to have your chronicle her childhood this way!
OMG SQUEE! I LOVE her outfit. I wish I could wear it! Shark Boy loved it too. The tree caught his attention when I was scrolling through and he smiled big when he saw Alexis. That looks like his kind of girl I think.
Those pictures are so funny! The one where she is standing in the crowd - looks like a magazine ad - not sure what she is selling, but she is working that look.
That may not be her costume, but it's awesome nonetheless! I love how she posted for it, too, in that last picture. And the one where she's looking up amidst a crowd of people? It should be in a magazine.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the biker ballerina idea. I so wish my Diva would be cool and creative like that. She is so lame with Halloween. This whole bunch is - it is sooooo killing my Halloween fun.
Also, I agree with Lisa @ Crazy Adventures in Parenting - you so need to submit that photo somewhere to get the recognition it rightly deserves - very cool shot.
You take awesome pictures! I remember from an earlier post you saying you made that tutu right? Is there anyway you could tell me how or where i could go to find out how? thanks!
It's all about what makes the kids happy. She and Micah need to get together. He wore a Steelers jersey, a poodle skirt and an old lady mask to a Halloween party yesterday. It was awesome.
Okay I love the first and last pics of her in this series. The first because of the way the light's hitting her, the last because of the attitude. The one of Alexis & her dad is really cool too. For some odd reason I have always loved photos of people walking away or with their backs to the photographer. All around awesomeness.
That is THE cutest "costume" I have ever seen! I am in love with it! I wish I could have found something cute like that when the drama queen was little.
HEY - we had a Zoo thing too for Halloween! I haven't posted about it yet because my boss won't leave me the hell alone. Seriously, doesn't she know how important blogspot is? Geesh. Anywho, your daughter is so cute - I love the outfit and the curls in back of her hair! :)

that first picture of Alexis surrounded by Big People just is fantastic. Shes so lucky to have you to chronicle her childhood the way you are.

@Anonymous--The tutu directions are http://cafemometsymoms.blogspot.com/2008/04/no-sew-tutu-tutorial-by-creative.html" rel="nofollow">here . That one was made with strips that were about 5 times extra wide and long, though. The mission was to make it poofier than should be humanly possible.
I'm totally seeing her on Project Runway someday. That outfit rocks. Costume or not!
She is so freakin cute!!

That 3rd picture down is priceless! My all time favorite the way the light is hitting her, perfect.
I'm totally loving the tutu and rocker chick look, she wears it well. (Hugs)Indigo
Seriously... I wish I could rock the biker ballerina fashion the way she does.

@subu--Sorry, but no. I'm stealing it!
