Looky What We Found

If you ask Alexis to take you for a little walk through our back yard, one of the things that she will make sure you see is the Pussy Willow shrub. She'll probably proclaim, "Wook! It's wussy lillows!" as she points eagerly to a few limbs. As you are giggling at her pronunciation, make sure you appreciate that the appearance of those fuzzy little orbs is an excellent sign that spring really can't be that far away. Puxatawny Phil can shove it, because wook! It's wussy lillows!

FIrst. Love the new header, BTW. And, I hope Phil shoves it. We've been in the 70s and I'm counting down for the return of the 80s.

Hehe, love the way she says that.
And that header of yours is GORGEOUS!

Oooh, now I have to go check our tree. At least she calls them wussy willow and not pussy pillows.

Oh how the pronounciation of that could go so wrong on so many levels. (I will now get my mind out of the gutter . . .)

I love it! I walked through our front yard the other day and noticed that there is new grass starting to think about breaking through the thatch of dormant grass left behind by winter! I don't want the summer heat quite yet, but I am ready to see some green!

Ooooh, I love those wussy lillows! They used to be my fave as a kid walking in our backyard too. Thank goodness the snow has all melted and we can see green grass again - soon everything will be flourescent!

I agree that Phil can stick it! It is 55 degrees and beautiful here in CT today.

Yay for alexis and wussy lillows and SPRING!

Header is awesome.

I don't like rodents, much at all, especially PHIL! He sucks royally.

You can't help smiling hearing how she says that! The cold and wind today say Spring is nowhere in my backyard. (Hugs)Indigo

I have such a hard time correcting when they mess up phrases and words. It's too dang cute.

Beautiful photo, great job! I hate that stupid little groundhog, why is he always right?

I am still trying to figure out how that little rugrat saw his shadow on a cloudy day. I smell a conspiracy going on here. . . seeing as it is 60 degrees in February. . .
