Such a Cute Little Moon. For Now.

I know how it started.

We were all in the living room. Alexis was pretending that I was a jungle gym as I sat on the couch trying to edit a few photos. Mr. Husband was sitting on the floor working on his fitness. Some how, some way, Alexis managed to step on the bottom of her elastic-waisted pajamas.

And it happened.

Her pants slipped south of the border.

Mr. Husband glanced up just in time to see a full moon. And laughed.

"I see the moon!" he laughingly said.

Alexis was a little confused at first, but then quickly figured out that Mr. Husband was laughing at the fact that her booty was hanging out of her pants. I helped her pull them back up, all the while Mr. Husband giggled like a five-year old girl.

He was still giggling a few seconds later when Alexis decided to use my left arm as a trampoline and managed to dislodge her cheeks from the cave once again. This time Alexis shouted, "MY MOON IS OUT!" so she could be very sure that Mr. Husband would laugh harder.

He's a man. Of course he laughed harder.

And thus began Alexis' undying need to moon people for laughs.

I know how it started.

And I'll be sure to remind Mr. Husband that it's all HIS fault when she's still doing it in high school.

My husband and I both laughed one night when Quinn's pants fell off of him (they were way too loose). Now Quinn makes his pants fall down All The Time, but luckily, only when we're at home playing together... but come on... the moon is funny.

LOL! At least if it becomes a problem later you can blame the husband, right?

Remind me to keep your husband away from my kids. ;)

Well, that is better than her lifting her shirt in high school so I think you're good... ; )

My Oldest Boy got out of the tub one night and proudly announced, "My bum looks like the moon and these (pointing to nipples) look like stars!!" {SIGH} I'm NOT a guy and I laughed my butt off. What can you do?

March 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterThe Mommy

Around here it's called "butt crack hanging out." And the husband started it here too. MEN!

I bet that is hilarious to see! My husband has always been one to show off his moon. I hope it's not genetic! lol!

Oh yes, this will come back to haunt you in some unsuspected way for sure!

Better she moons in high school than pierces "down there!"

Hallie

Girlfriend better NOT be doing that in high school. Though that would be one hilarious phone call from the principal. Just make sure all calls from school go to the husband's cell.

Haha! I am also amused, and thankful it's not my child!

Let's hope it doesn't progress to streaking...

Oh man, men do not think these things through, do they? All I have to say is, Miss Aggressive better not show my son the moon next time we get together or I'm getting that restraining order.

Yeah, that will never stop, now. Ever.
