Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip.
Oh, yes. It is a marvelous food of epic yummiliciousness. It's easy to make, yet impressive when it's done. It's perfect for sharing, and perfect for keeping to yourself.
It's just plain perfect.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
- 1 8oz brick of cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 bag mini chocolate chips
- 1 box Nilla Wafers
Mix the cream cheese, butter, and brown sugar together. Add the chocolate chips. Chill and serve with Nilla Wafers.
That's it.
Really.
And it's OH SO GOOD.
<This is where there would be a photo of said Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip, but it requires two hands to properly dip a Nilla Wafer into the stuff and I can't take a picture AND dip/eat at the same time. So, imagine what raw chocolate chip cookie dough looks like. The dip? Looks EXACTLY the same.>

My cousin also makes this dip ... I can't remember what she calls it, but I guess that doesn't really matter because the delicious taste is all anyone cares about!! Anyway, she serves hers with Teddy Grahams ... Just another nice alternative to try if you run out of 'Nilla Wafers! :)
oh my - and there's no eggs so that means my preggo self (yup, #2 is on the way in January) can even have some!!!!!!!!!!!!
I now know what I am doing with the abundance of cream cheese in my fridge. Thank you!!
ARGALARGALARGAARRRR... [Homer Simpson drool]
Think they sell that at Pick 'n' Save?
oh my good lord! i have to have this.
NOW.
What the hell is a nilla wafer?
Damn Americans with your weird stuff.
I can attest to the awesome yumminess. Both of the dip and of Jack. Amy herself is the producer of both, which makes her Wonderful Itself.
Jack is definitely a future superstar with that hair.
OH that is EVIL!!!! I will so be making it tonight to share with my sister and her family. Then when I get home Sunday I will HAVE to make it again to share with my son. ;-) Don't want to leave him out of the yummy goodness. :-)
Have a great weekend!
Jackie
Oh that stuff is evil!! And Jack? Totally delicious! :)
What a COINCIDENCE! I have some here right now! And chocolate raspberry cake! (Don't ask about the random pairing. I bake when I'm stressed.) Too bad you are so far away.... sigh. (Not that I would try to bribe you here with food, or anything.)
I make this dip for parties all the time and it is always a hit! I add a little bit of vanilla and a little bit of powdered sugar to mine - literally, just a little bit of each. Through undergrad and grad school, I've lived in 5 different apartments in the last 6 years, and my measuring cups and spoons got lost somewhere along the way. I'm waiting until I'm back in an apartment on a long-term basis before re-investing in some new ones.
I'm totally drooling right now. Also, I'm totally making this when I get home from work tonight.
You.are.evil. Now I want both: the delish dip and a cutie with blonde curls! Luckily, our Little One is a blondie with curls (whew! Because 4 is enuff, already!). I wish cream cheese had been on sale...because I'm o-u-t. Darn. Must restock. Soon.
Ahem. I just gained 3lbs. I haven't made it yet. But I gained it already - so now I'll gain another 3 when I make it. And eat it. In one sitting. Because that's how I see that happening.
Yum...YUM. I can't wait to make some!
Ok how is it possible that I did not know that Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip existed until now. I always eat my cookie dough raw, it seems like this would be a socially acceptable approximation of that!
Amy should have a blog. How do we make this happen?
I feel as if this dip will be the downfall of my diet. I've lost 50 lbs. but this dip. It's gonna get me.
I will make it for you if you let me come over and reminisce about our time in Minot.
