Day Seventy-Three

And suddenly, six years has passed since this moment.

It seems entirely appropriate that on the day before her sixth birthday, Mila spent her time chilling with a Nintendo Switch while the rest of us did a ton of manual labor. There's very nearly a playhouse in our backyard, and Mila couldn't be bothered to so much as hand me screws. She was far too busy doing whatever she wanted.

Mila's story began with everyone focused on doing everything they could to please her, and that hasn't changed one bit.

The fact that Alexis fully cherishes everything about her little sister hasn't changed either.

But what's there to not cherish? Mila is full of sunlight and joy. She always has been and most likely always will be.
