Hava-That
I don't do the Black Friday shopping thing because I've noticed this crazy thing where stores still have stuff for sale at rather respectable times of the day, like after lunch. There are other reasons, too, like that I usually have most gifts purchased by the time Thanksgiving rolls around. Also, there isn't anything in any store anywhere that is so important to me that I'm willing to give up sleep. Have I mentioned that I like sleep? I really, really do.
This year, however, we did wander out on Black Friday just to look around. We weren't Christmas shopping, per se (see also: I'm already done with that and have been for a bunch of weeks), but we figured we'd pick up any Must Own items while we gazed longingly at all of the things we don't need.
This. This was a Must Own.
It wasn't really a Black Friday purchase, more a regular stock item at Target that I hadn't noticed before. No matter, though, It was MUST OWN NOOOOOW.
Cody is a Havanese. Anytime I say that people go, "A Hava-what?" because it's just not a common breed. So finding something with his face on it was pretty magical.
I have a love for Black Friday now. Just a tiny one, though.

I think the painting is a Shih Tzu, but they do look pretty similar.
That is an awesome find. Props to you!
I bought a ridiculous painting of a dog that reminded us of our dog (mutt - cross between Australian shepard and lab) one year when we were in New Hope visiting family. It is still one of my favorite things.
Some items are too perfect to walk away from!
