How Many Links Can I Fit In One Post? A LOT.

Despite the fact that I write here nearly daily, I've fallen behind on some stuff. Let's play catch-up!

************************************************************

If you read using a feed reader like Google Reader, etc., I need your attention for just a second. If you type the address up in the address bar to get here or come via Facebook or Twitter, you can skip ahead to the next starry thingy.

Anyway. You lovely feed reader people. I adore you. :-)

You may have heard that lately Feedburner has been sucking air faster than me after running a marathon. I'm officially breaking up with Feedburner in anticipation of a total and complete collapse (see how the simile still works? It totally does.).

So.

If you happen to be subscribed via the Feedburner feed, I need you to resubscribe please and thank you and I love you. I won't switch things over completely until the end of the week, but if you resubscribe now, you'll look prettier. Or something. Here's the link:

At this very moment, there is a cat attacking my feet. If I could figure out the right letters for putting together a scream in writing, that's what would be right here.

The next Getting Started with Your DSLR workshop has been scheduled and there are a few spaces available. You can sign up over here. It's your chance to learn how to make your DSLR do magical things like this:

I swear to you, that photo is straight out of the camera. BAM.

************************************************************

I spent the ENTIRE weekend trying to get an iPhone that works. Literally. The ENTIRE weekend. It's a 45-minute drive to the Apple Store, so by the time you round trip it and add time at the store, we figured we had better find something to do near the store. And it was all (apparently) because of a bad SIM card. I have a serious case of SIM rage.

Also, is it weird that I didn't really miss having remote access to email, twitter, and facebook? Because I seriously didn't.

************************************************************

Something I seemingly haven't mentioned, but that happened a while ago -- I started a new job. There was a situation with the whole thing that was ... a situation, so I purposely didn't say anything anywhere. The situation has since made like Elvis and left the building, but it's still all very not bloggable. And I'll leave it at that.

************************************************************

I hate when I'm vague. You?

************************************************************

I still haven't watched this, but I hear there's this crazy lady who writes vague things in it somewhere. If I have a booger hanging or something in it, would someone please let me know so I can burn it with fire? The video. Not the booger. The booger can go dance with a tissue instead.

************************************************************

I posted some photos from a story that wasn't mine, but the story (and lots more photos) are now online over here.

Seriously, Tamara understates how very amazing she is.

And some of the people who commented on that post really need to get some therapy.

************************************************************

I posted this one year ago today.

I swear to you, that cat is a living mockery of me. He may be old, crotchety, and probably arthritic, but he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

And he thinks it's SO MUCH FUN to lay very, very still in my closet. At least once per week I end up convinced he's not actually sleeping in there, but rather gone. I stare and stare and stare waiting for him to take a breath or something. Every single time, his eyes pop wide open, he yawns, and then he laughs in my face.

Jerk.

We had to drive two hours up to our closest Apple store this past weekend, but it is in Chicago so I wasn't complaining too much. We have to go back this weekend to pick up the hopefully fixed computer.

Would love to attend the DSLR class in October but am having a party that day...Will you be offering it again? Also...I make custom backdrops, garlands, banners that are used for parties and photo shoots...Would love to make some thing for you sometime. Thanks.

Congrats on the new job! And I'm going to ignore all of the cat stuff - I'm trying to convince my husband that we need to adopt the two kittens that my brother's cat just had. He's not even on the fence - he's in a neighboring town somewhere and is nearly dead-set against it. Don't worry. I.WILL.WIN.

I don't want to switch over. I'm going to lose readers. I AM SO MAD ABOUT ALL OF THIS. :(

Switched :)

I LOVE that shot. So very much.

Vagueness sucks, but is necessary sometimes. It has been SO HARD for me to not constantly vague tweet lately.
