I can't believe I haven't thought of this! It's a little disturbing but sounds SO delish! Good thing we're building a fire today and I happen to have packages of peeps just hangin' around...

Many years ago, I decided that peeps would make the best toasted marshmallows, thinking that the sugar would make a crispy coating. So I toasted one just right, then - forgetting that sugar + heat = molten lava - shoved the thing in my mouth & burned the skin off my lips. Good times.
