Oh. Hey. SEVENTH GRADE.
It was somewhere around 20 minutes ago that this happened.
A shy little girl with a backpack bigger than her stood on our front steps and carefully smiled for a nagging mom.
And then I blinked.

Uuuuuuugh.
Life comes at you fast, guys. The kid once known as "burgh baby" is a bona fide almost-adult now.
So much ugh.

Make it stoooooop!
As a fellow mom who also blinked and had her daughter start seventh grade on Monday, I say nope to all of this.
And don't even get me started on my son who, the same day, drove himself to school for the first day of his junior year. "So much ugh" perfectly mimics my feelings this week.
I am right there with you as Monday by "baby" starts his senior year of high school and my oldest will begin her sophomore year of college. Pretty sure I was just bringing them home from the hospital.
