Guess what time it is?
Daisy time!
We've been doing this every year. As soon as the daisies in my garden bloom, it's time for Alexis to pose for a moment. We started things with portraits at the studio in the mall, but have switched to my studio. I kinda wish I had been a half-decent photographer with a legit studio sooner because there is a definite difference in the end result. There's also a definite difference in how sane I stay through the process (the studio in the mall is where happiness goes to die).

This year's final result, which I swear I will frame and hang in the dining room (I kinda haven't printed and framed the last three. YET. Ahem.), is this one. Alexis was all in with ideas for poses and such this year, so I had quite a few to pick from.
And now I'm going to go sob in the corner because that all happened way too quickly.

Oh my word. She's so beautiful and so grown up. There's so much DUST in this damn house...yes, it's the dust.
All the feels! She has grown up so fast. More so in the last couple of years. She is so beautiful!
