Thumper and Thumper

Long before we knew Alexis would be Alexis, before we knew she was even a she, there was a phase where her code name was "Thumper." It wasn't so much because she liked to use my bladder as a bongo (although, she did), but more because her feet were constantly in motion. Kick...kick...kick. Stomp. Kick. Thump. Stomp....Stomp...Stomp. KICK! THUMP!

In retrospect, I suppose that was just some early dance practice. She has been preparing for a career as a Rockette since long before she was born, and still continues to do so every single day.

that's how my child got to be called Mo. She would either be Madeline or Oliver. Forever it was Madoliver and one day over IM it was Mo.

Somethings have never changed...
