When I'm Wrong, I'm Wrong

I don't string these words together often, but when I do, I mean it. Mark your calendars and tell your friends -- I was wrong.

Truly.

I was.

Last week when we headed to the Animal Rescue League to hang out with some kittens, I wasn't sure if we would leave with a new friend or not. When I opened the door to where the cats are, though, I changed my mind instantly. I knew. We were going to take home this little guy.

He was a blonder version of Max with blue eyes and long-ish fur. And he was STUNNING. Truly, he was one of the most adorable cats ever. EVER EVER.

And I wanted him.

But ... it wasn't solely my decision to make. So when Alexis said she liked a different kitten, I mumbled under my breath but then let her see the other kitten. We ended up in a little room with both of them, with me having already decided how the game was going to end.

Except, that isn't what happened. There is exactly one word to describe what happened and that word is "Alexis." She happened. She sat on the floor playing with kittens, as happy as can be, and one of those damn kittens made it real clear that she was going home with us. The kitten picked Alexis much more than Alexis picked her. It was meant to be.

And MAN was it meant to be.

This kitten, the kitten that picked Alexis while we were at the shelter, promptly changed her human selection once we were home.

This kitten has picked me as her favoritest in SO many ways. She lives in my lap, follows me around all over the house, and she lets me do stuff like this.

Which, by the way, is anything. This kitten will let me put her anywhere, dress her in anything, and she lets me take photos of it.

She seriously doesn't care.

I'm in kitty heaven, and all because I was wronger than wrong.

(No, she still doesn't have a name. We should probably work on that, eh? Feel free to leave suggestions in the comments. It has to be a name that comes from a Disney movie, though. That's our only rule.)

She is gorgeous! Congratulations on your beautiful new family member. Some things are just meant to be.

I think Posey would be a cute name since she allows you to pose her however you like. :)

Vanellope von Schweetz. My kids have been over the moon for Wreck-It Ralph lately. Which is Disney, not Pixar, though there's a John Lasseter crossover there.

Vanellope!

Just go with Cat for the name. Or She. Simple.

Love her! My cat would never let me do that to her. How about Megara from Hercules? She is a girl with an attitude and brought Hercules to his knees!

Esmeralda.

Seriously, I can't stand the cute. You must stop. I can't get a cat. I just can't.

What's the name of the cat in Pinnochio? Figaro? Or is that the fish? i don't remember, but I think that has to be the movie!

So. Freaking. Cute!

FWIW, I vote Figment

She's adorable! I wish my cats liked dressing up (they hate it but it doesn't stop me. A pissy cat in a costume makes for hysterical picture taking.). I vote Figaro.

Lucille (Lucy) or Doris--both from Meet the Robinsons
Or Edna from The Incredibles

She looks like the friendliest cat ever.

It's possible she might be the cutest kitten I have EVER seen! Seriously, she needs a name worthy of her adorableness.

Um Elena from Brave. ;) It's the mom that will protect her kids no matter what.

How about Kiki or Jiji from "Kiki's Delivery Service?" It's a Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli film that was released in a partnership with the Walt Disney Company. Kiki is the girl witch, and Jiji is her cat. Kiki spends a year living on her own learning/using her magical powers to earn a living. Kirsten Dunst and Phil Hartman were the voices in the english dubbed version.

Super cute movie!

Then there's Ponyo another Disney/Ghibli movie

Such a cute kittie!!!

I like Noni (from Lilo and Stitch), Raja (Aladdin), Miko (Pocahontas), Atta (Bug's Life) or Peach (Finding Nemo). Vanellope is good, too.

I like Ponyo too, but it might be a strech on being a disney character.

But I also like: Alana (Little mermaid) or Boo (Monsters Inc)
