A Poopy Little Snippet
I have spent the past few days in Newark for a work thing, so my Alexis interactions have been limited to phone calls. Which, uh, WTH? Since when did my preshussss get to be big enough to carry on full conversations on the phone? And not just full conversations, but like Real Conversations. During one call she gave me the full play-by-play of her day at school, another was all about what she plans to do this weekend, and the third, while very short, was a work of sheer genius. It went like this:
Me: Hello.
Alexis: Poopy diaper! (Cackles like a mad woman.)
Me: What?
Alexis: Poopy diaper! (Again, cackles like a mad woman.)
Me: Poopy diaper?
Alexis: It's a joke! Poopy diaper! (Literally drops the phone because she was laughing so hard.)
Me: ????
Alexis: OK, goodbye!

Morgan carries on full conversations on the phone, too. It's rather comical to listen, or be a part of, said conversations. She rambles on and on and on about things that, at times, make NO sense.
The picture? While I love all your photos (GENIUS with a camera, I say!), that one is amazing :)

I'm betting Alexis has a lot of boy friends. They tend to be an endless river of poopy musings.

I get that one a lot at the pre-school. Everything's hilariously funny when you're 4, especially poop.

Does Alexis go to preschool with my kids? Because that is their favorite joke too. They also crack up when saying, "I'm not in kindergarten." How I wish my sense of humor bar was so low.
It's so funny what cracks them up sometimes.
BTW, did you see my boys singing Guns N Roses on my blog? Last week one day. For some reason I though you would really appreciate that... ha!

What a great joke? Was that a hint that she wants a sibling?
This reminds me of the "jokes" Tommy's been telling me lately. Sometimes they're knock knock jocks, but usually they're more along the lines of: "What do you get when you take a elephant, a banana, and a cuckoo lookey donkey bonkey?" This delivery is then followed by hysterical laughter and no apparent punchline.
SHe and Gracie would be hilarious together. Gracie's first joke? "Joke!" and then she'd collapse with big belly laughs. Which would make US collapse laughing. So, um, it sort of worked. :-)
