If Ever There Was a Bunch of Photos That Needed to Be Blogged
Sometimes you walk into a room and you know you should probably intervene.
But then you remember that it has been entirely too long since you made Mr. Canon earn his keep, so you grab him and stand back to take pictures instead.
And then you think, "No, really, it's time to stop this," but you are paralyzed by shock that the dog is too stupid to just run away.
You then realize that it's really pretty awesome that your kid is into Bulldog torture just like you are, so you keep on watching.
And watching.
And watching.
And watching.
And watching, all the while knowing that this whole scene probably qualifies as animal abuse, but who cares?
Because if you had stopped it then you wouldn't have a series of photos that cracks you up every single time you look at them.
And what fun would that be?
(That dog is totally going to kill me in my sleep tonight. WORTH IT.)

Your kid is awesome.
P.S. Also awesome is the Light in the Attic book I see in the photos. Shel Silverstein rocks!
@Melissa--That is her current favorite book, other than The Secret Garden. My kid is weird. And awesome.
The looks on the dog's face tell as much of a story as your words! LOLOLOL!! Thanks for sharing the... ummm... abuse?? ;o)
Poor baby dog. :)
Meg does not seem amused... but the pics are great!
It's her t-shirt that makes this post.
Poor Meg!! She looks so pissed!! I think maybe Alexis needs a little sister or brother (my girls dress poor Adam up in pink tutus and hairbows all the time).
I love how hilariously pissed off Meg looks in that last photo.
my favorite in this series of photos is of meg sneezing or yawning or opening wide to bite you in the butt for allowing this to be done to her.
Meg: Please. Help. Me.
I love the third one down, where Alexis is concentrating so hard to get the wings properly placed. The look on Meg's face totally shows her resignation to the child induced torture. Awesome series!
The look on Meg's face in that last picture? Totally made my day. Hysterical? Also? Does that mean all that drool can be considered pixie dust now?
Love these pictures.
LOVE this! She and Morgan are so similar, it's scary (and really fricken cool!).
Also? The Light in the Attic was my favorite book when I was a kid.
The expression on the dog's face just screams "help me.' That last look, you're getting the serious 'sting eye.'
@Tara--True 'dat, but she could just, you know, RUN AWAY. Dumb dog. ;-)
The pic of Meg yawning is just begging to be added to I Can Haz Cheezburger! If I were any good at lolspeak, I'd so try to add a caption!
May Alexis never grow out of wanting to dress up her pets!
OH that dog's face is too too funny! I was just looking at one of ours today where we put a santa hat on our Boston Terrier - he was equally thrilled :)
TOO FUN! :)
Who knew dogs could have such a range of facial expressions? :)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The dog's expression in the second and last photos completely cracks me up. Thanks for the laugh!
Awesome pics!
These are hysterical. I tend to miss pics where my kid is torturing the dog. Lucky you!
That's it...I'm getting a bulldog!
@Nap Warden--DON'T DO IT. The vet bills and the drool and the snot and the snoring and the farts . . . so not worth it. ;-)
Meg is a girl, right? I am sure she has been looking forward to a time when she, too, could play dress up.
Though in that shot there I can't tell if she is yawning or about to burst into tears.
This is totally awesome. Must show husband. Must buy fairy wings for greyhound...
The eyes say it all.
(I am sloooooowly catching up on all of the blogging I missed last week.)
OMG, Meg's face in each of those shots is absolutely priceless. :) You're right - totally worth it!
