Sharing is Dumb

I don't share very well.

It's not really a secret. I full admit that I don't like to share. That's why this happened.

Alexis and I went to a class this weekend to learn how to make glass mosaics. I didn't want to share, so she got to make her own. She chose to make a heart with a rainbow background.

I made my very own thing. An owl.

Which I think just proves that sharing is stupid. I wouldn't have been happy making a heart with a rainbow when I had a hooter in mind.

Sharing is overrated. Sometimes.

From Alexis' point of view, all she will remember is that time we went and made stained glass windows. Sometimes being the grown-up is pretty fantastic.

you are such an awesome Mama <3 (also during Chanukah we had to have a long conversation with O about the fact that Mama doesn't share donuts. Ever.)

@Tee -- It was a place in the Public Market in the Strip. I can't say that I recommend the class because it was more of a "here are some supplies, go ahead" sort of thing than an actual class, but it was fun. It helped that I already knew how to work with tile and such, though.
